I received an SMS scam this morning similar to the Petronas MAS SMS scam last year. It says,
"TAHNIAH, Simcard Anda tlah berjaya Memenangi wang RM 14000. Sila hub telifon office ASTRO MALAYSIA 00628176745911 Trima kasih." - sender: +628159740368
It came from the same source the previous scam SMS came from. i.e. Indonesian mobile. Still, there are people who got cheated (http://www.nst.com.my/Current_News/NST/Wednesday/National/2156367/Article/index_html).
How difficult is it to get those thieves? I mean sure there will be some bank transactions, couldn't the authority force the banks to reveal who the fella was since it is a criminal case?
